Mo'Nique OK's Cheating???

So I admire Mo'Nique firstly for being brave enough to spell her name this way and secondly because she has been successful in her life being her. I don't always agree with what Mo'Nique says, I often find I appreciate her zestful candor. Those who are familiar with Mo'Nique know she refuses to shave her legs and armpits.Mo'Nique is au naturel at awards shows, on Oprah, in her life in general and is open about it. She says her husband loves it which I figure he must if he's laying up with her every night or every other night by the standards of this marriage.

Now Mo'NIque is on the record for saying, if her husband cheats...It's OK. Check out these Mo'Nique quotes made during a Pre-Oscar interview:

"Let me say this: I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney," the Academy Award nominee says in this year's 29th - and final - Barbara Walters Oscar special.

"Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That's not a deal-breaker. That's not something that would make us say, 'Pack your things and let's end the marriage.'"

And what if the "Precious" star discovered that Hicks had, well, stepped out more than once? No sweat.

"What if it's 20 times?" asks the openminded actress. "So what? We've been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don't know who they're laying next to. I'm very comfortable and secure with my husband."

Of course, Miss M has a few tricks to keep her hubby from straying - fingers crossed - and that includes her infamously unshaven gams.

"He loves the hairy legs," Mo says, "and if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go."

She even explains to Walters why she chooses to go au naturel: "I tried shaving one time, and it was so uncomfortable and painful. I said never again would I do that to myself." Besides, says Mo'Nique, "I'm 42 and I'm very hairy."

As an unmarried person, I can only imagine what my ideal marriage would be. From life experience I can only guess my reaction should I find out my husband cheated. I don't think I would be OK with it. I know me, I would become consumed with watching his every move, checking up on him and trying to catch him in the act. I would spend the rest of my days in a relationship trying to police my "loved" one. I think for me staying with a man who has cheated on me would be detrimental to my health and ultimately our relationship and because of this, I can't imagine I would stay with anyone who cheated whether I had kids or not. I am not saying life is easy. That's just me. Life is hard, having children, a family and a relationship is hard to maintain or to leave but in my case I would be OUT! Maybe bust a "Waiting to Exhale" bonfire at his workplace...Something.

I do admire and believe Mo'Nique as she said, knows her husband and is comfortable with him and who he is. I can't say I admire their relationship but to each his own... There is nothing like asking your husband which girl of the many he dates gave him the STD ...

AKOO...A WHAT? ORAL SEX & THESE JEANS...

What in the world is this ad selling? Do you know?

I really want to say the jeans but they are just about to be out of the picture.

I think... Well it looks like the stock markets are missing out on one of the biggest investments yet.Not just any sex will do, why not jazz up this "fashion" spread with Oral Sex! Apparently it sells EVERYTHING!

It's like MILK- does the body good. Oral sex is like the new holy water.

Anyway AKOO is rapper T.I.'s new clothing line. People in Newark New Jersey are upset about the "ad" and the message it conveys.

In response AKOO released an official statement regarding the controversy:

“THE AKOO brand has always aimed to inspire individualism and creativity. Our advertising campaign was not created to offend or insult anyone but to simply provoke dialogue and thought regarding male/female sexuality within urban culture. We hope that as more of the campaign is debuted, people will see the multifaceted personality of AKOO.”

Wow. So basically they have said,

"The AKOO brand is aimed at inspiring ORAL SEX from individuals creatively. Our advertising campaign was not created to offend or insult anyone but to simply provoke dialogue and thought regarding oral sex within the urban culture.
We hope that as more of the campaign is debuted, people will see and understand that AKOO wants you to suck a dick."

Well done AKOO...Way to inspire urban youth. T.I. or his staff used even less thought than that, used to "create" a rap video. This is just sad. Sexy. But sad.
